- Troubleshooting and FAQ
Getting Started
- Start Page: The app opens on Donor List.
- Tabs: Donor List, Meshulach List, Donations, Route, Users Guide.
- Shared Controls: Blue Add buttons, View/Edit, Inline Editing, Search, Sort, Filter, Delete are used across tabs.
Core Concepts and Rules
- Auto filled context: Clicking Add Donation from a person’s row auto fills that person’s name. From the Donations tab, select Donor and Meshulach manually.
- View shows only filled fields: Empty fields do not display in view mode.
- Inline editing: Some fields (like City) can be edited directly in the table. Press Enter or click outside to save.
- Delete is permanent: Removes the person and related data system wide.
- Duplicates: Some imported contacts may be duplicated. Clean manually or re import from a deduped file.

- Delete the duplicate record.
Full fix (bulk): Clean the source contact file, remove duplicates, then re import to replace the dataset.
How do I delete someone?

Find and Organize Records

Section 2: Route
How do I make a route from start to finish?
This is the full walkthrough for creating a complete route from start to finish. It covers how to prepare, select a meshulach, add donors, set order, and mark visits as completed.
- Go to the Route tab and look at the right-side 'Today' list to check for any come-backs due today.
- Decide which meshulach will be working today.
- In the Meshulachim list (left side), find that meshulach and click the 'Route' button to open their page.
- On their route page, use the 'Add Donor to Route' form to add today’s donors one by one.
- Confirm the Scheduled Date (auto-fills to today) and add time or notes as needed.
- Once all donors are added, assign numeric values in the 'Order' column to set your stop sequence.
- Start visiting. After each stop, click 'Add Donation' if applicable, then mark 'Completed = Yes'.
- If a visit is missed, immediately change its Scheduled Date to reschedule.
- At the end of the day, verify that the completed donors no longer appear in the Today list.
Routes are day-based and built around a single meshulach each week. There are two pages involved: a first-page daily overview (shows ALL donors due today, including come-backs), and a meshulach-specific working page where you add and manage today’s stops. Always check the daily overview BEFORE building today’s route to avoid mixing reminders with new additions.
How do I check today’s come-backs before building a route?
Start every day by checking come-backs scheduled for today so you don’t bury them under new additions.
(screenshot: Route first page — Today list)- You’re on the Route first page.
- Look at the right-side Today list to see all donors due today (includes come-backs).
- Scan for any donors that are follow-ups from previous weeks.
- Decide which come-backs must be included as you plan today’s route.
- Skim by City initials first to group stops by area.
- If there are many, jot their names or add temporary note initials.
- If you add new donors first, the Today list will mix them with come-backs and be harder to read.
How do I select a meshulach and open their working route?
Pick the meshulach for this week/day and open their dedicated working route.
(screenshot: Meshulachim list with Route buttons)- You’ve reviewed come-backs on the first page.
- You know which meshulach you’re going out with.
- In the left-side Meshulachim list, find the meshulach by Name or sort by City initials.
- Click the Route button on that row to open the meshulach’s route page.
- Use Search to find the meshulach fast by partial name letters.
How do I add donors to today’s route?
Add donors one-by-one to build today’s route for the selected meshulach.
(screenshot: Add Donor to Route form)- You are on the meshulach route page.
- Open the Add Donor to Route form (3rd element).
- Choose a donor from the dropdown.
- Confirm Scheduled Date (auto-filled to today). Change it if scheduling for another day.
- Optionally set Time and add short Notes.
- Save. The donor appears in the route table (2nd element).
- Repeat for each additional donor.
- If you plan to insert new stops later, leave gaps in Order numbers (see below).
How do I set and auto-sort the visit order?
Control the stop sequence using the numeric Order field and sort by it.
- Donors are already added to the route table.
- In the route table, click into the Order cell and type a number for each donor.
- Configure the table to sort by Order (ascending).
- Use 10, 20, 30… so you can insert 15 or 25 later without renumbering everything.
- If the table still sorts by Donor, change the sort to the Order field in the column header.
How do I mark a visit completed so it disappears?
Mark finished visits so they drop off today’s list.
- You visited the donor.
- Open the donor row in the route table.
- Set Completed to Yes and save.
- If you collected a donation, record it first, then mark Completed.
How do I reschedule a missed visit so it shows on the right day?
Reschedule missed visits immediately so they surface on the correct future date.
- The donor wasn’t available or you need to come back.
- Open the donor row in the route table.
- Change Scheduled Date to the new date and save right away.
- Set a Time if you have an agreed window; otherwise leave it blank and set it later.
- If you forget to reschedule immediately, the donor won’t reappear automatically on the right day.
How do I add a donation from the route?
Record a donation directly from the donor row on the route table.
- You’re on the meshulach’s route page and standing at/after a visit.
- Click Add Donation on the donor row.
- Confirm amount, date, and method.
- If it’s a check, upload the check image (see below).
- Submit.
- If adding later from the Donations tab, remember donor/meshulach won’t auto-fill there.
How do I see a donor’s donation history and stats?
Open the donor’s full donation record and summary metrics.
- Click Donations History on the donor row.
- Review the 3-part page: Donor Details, Donation History (list), Donor’s Donation Stats (summary).
How do I upload a check image?
Attach a photo of a check to a donation entry.
- Take a clear photo using your device’s camera (good lighting, no glare).
- In the donation form, scroll to the Check section.
- Click Choose an Image, select the photo, and upload.
- Submit the donation.
- Fill the frame with the check; keep account/amount areas legible.
- If the image is blurry, retake it—don’t upload unclear scans.
How do I search or sort within the route?
Find and arrange route records quickly.
- Use Search to match any part of a name (partial letters work).
- Click a red data-column header to sort; avoid action columns.
- Sort by City initials if you’re grouping an area.
- Combine Search + Sort for fastest retrieval.
